Same day delivery is always available if the order is placed before 1pm Pacific weekdays and 11am Pacific on weekends. 1. Find your gift

On VancouverFlorist.com, our large inventory of floral bouquets and gifts are placed into a number of categories we have found customers tend to shop by. For example, there are arrangements grouped by occasion or holiday, as well as by colour, by flower or by price. Alternatively, you may also search our database using a particular flower type or theme to find bouquets that are suitable for your needs. As always, our phone lines are always open if you are need of suggestions or have questions about any product or any of our delivery services.

2. Selection and Preferences

Once you find the item you are interested in having delivered, simply click on the item name, or its image. This will take you to that specific product’s information page, where you can read about what flowers it contains, its dimensions and how it is designed. You also have the ability to enlarge the image of the product in order to get a closer look. On this page, you can further choose whether to send the item in the Standard size as it is pictured, or you can take advantage of upgrading to either a Premium or Deluxe arrangement. Once you have everything selected as you wish, simply click on “Order Now”. Doing this will add your selection to your shopping cart, and take you to a page where you can add something extra to make you gift that much more special, such as a box of chocolates, a balloon or a special teddy bear. From here, you can then press “Continue” which will take you to the My Cart page that will show a summary of the items you have selected.

3. Entering Coupon Codes and Promotions

We often send out promotional emails to our customers to remind them of upcoming holidays or special occasion. In order to receive the current discount or promotion, you must enter the coupon code provided in the email in the field to the bottom left of the My Cart page and hit “Apply”. You will then see a notation describing the promotion as well as the value of the discount deducted from your order. 

3. How to Check Out

Once you have made your selections, click on the “Checkout” button on your bottom right and this will take you through to a page where you can either create an account with us or login into your existing account, if you have used this website before.

4. Delivery Information

The next phase of the checkout process will be for you to enter to whom and to where you would like us to deliver your order. The more accurate and more detailed you are with this information, the better so please review what you have entered to ensure it is correct before pressing “Continue” and moving on to the next page. A correct phone number here is extremely important to ensure a timely floral delivery can be made, if any of the other information is not correct.

5. Delivery Details

In this section, we ask for a delivery date, what type of occasion the gift is being sent for, what type of a building we will be delivering to as well as for your personalized card message. Don’t forget to sign the card! Lastly, in the special instructions filed, please add any additional information you feel is important including time requests, details about the delivery location or specific colour or flower substitutions. Please be aware that we are unable to accommodate specific time deliveries, for example, “at 11am”, but are able to deliver within a two hour window, for example, “between 11am and 1pm”. Please call us at 604-875-7777 or 1-800-606-1338 if you have any questions regarding timed deliveries. At this stage, you can then press “Continue” to move on to the next section.

6. Billing Information

Once you have completed the delivery information section, you will then be asked to enter your own information. Please ensure you provide the best daytime phone number where you can be reached, particularly on the day of delivery, in case we need to speak with you about your order. Lastly, we ask for payment, which can only be made by credit card or PayPal. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club or Discover. Generally, debit type cards will not process through our system but you are welcome to try. This website is 100% secure, and compliant with PCI regulations, so rest assured that any information you enter here is completely safe, and protected. If you have any questions regarding this, please go view our Security and Privacy Policy. Once this stage is complete, you will be taken to our Thank you page. This indicates your order is complete.

7. Confirmation and Receipt

We will always send an email confirmation of your order to the address provided when you created your account. Please carefully review all the details of your order to ensure they are correct and notify us either by email or phone if you see any errors or want to make any changes. We do recommend that you print at least one copy for future reference, should you have need of it.

8. Order Changes

All of the orders received through our website are processed immediately, as we do offer same day delivery service. This also means that we may not be able to immediately cancel or change orders, as they will already be in the process of being put together. Should you need to make change to an existing order, please call us at 604-875-7777 or 1-800-606-1338, or email us at [email protected] and we will make every effort to intercept your order before it can be delivered.

9. Delivery Confirmation

We are pleased to say that in this last year, we have upgraded our computers systems and are now providing same day delivery confirmations to all of our customers. The only exceptions to this are if your order is not in our own local delivery area and have been sent along to a florist who does not have the same type of computer system. In this case, we can confirm delivery by phone or email from 6am to 6pm weekdays and from 8am to 4pm on weekends. In addition to this, we are always able to to update you on the status of your order before it is delivered.

10. Sales Tax

Under law, we have to charge GST, PST or HST based on the location that the item is being sent to, not the region it was sent from. Tax is calculated on the flowers or gifts as well as the delivery fee itself. This is a requirement on behalf of both Provincial and Federal authorities, and we can sadly make no exception to this rule.
